By submitting an enquiry, booking work, or completing an online form, the client agrees to these Terms of Trade.

Where a specific service has additional terms (for example, the Winter Weed Readiness Check), those service-specific terms apply in addition to these Terms of Trade.

2. Scope of Services

JD Drone Services provides drone-based and associated ground services in accordance with applicable regulations, industry standards, and best practice.

All services are carried out based on the information provided by the client and the conditions present at the time of work.

3. Quotes & Pricing

  • All quotes are estimates unless stated otherwise.

  • Pricing may vary depending on site conditions, access, weather, and scope of work.

  • Additional work requested, or work required due to undisclosed conditions, may be charged separately.

4. Payment Terms

  • Invoices are due 7 days from the invoice date unless otherwise agreed.

  • JD Drone Services reserves the right to suspend or delay further work if payment terms are not met.

  • Any costs incurred in recovering overdue accounts may be passed on to the client.

5. Weather & Operational Constraints

  • Drone operations are weather-dependent and subject to regulatory and safety requirements.

  • JD Drone Services may delay, reschedule, or cancel work where conditions are unsafe, unsuitable, or non-compliant.

  • Delays caused by weather or operational constraints do not constitute a breach of contract.

6. Access & Site Conditions

  • The client is responsible for providing safe and reasonable access to the work area.

  • JD Drone Services is not responsible for delays or additional costs caused by poor access, obstacles, stock interference, or undisclosed hazards.

7. Livestock & Property Responsibility

  • The client is responsible for the management and removal of livestock from treatment areas where required.

  • JD Drone Services is not liable for loss or damage resulting from livestock movements, terrain conditions, or normal agricultural risks.

8. Agrichemicals & Compliance

  • Agrichemicals are applied in accordance with product label directions and regulatory requirements.

  • The client is responsible for observing any required withholding periods, grazing restrictions, and re-entry intervals.

  • JD Drone Services is not responsible for outcomes affected by resistance, regrowth, environmental conditions, or factors beyond its control.

9. Liability

JD Drone Services will take reasonable care in carrying out all services.

To the extent permitted by law:

  • Liability is limited to re-performing the service or the value of the service provided.

  • JD Drone Services is not liable for indirect, consequential, or economic loss.

10. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Work may be rescheduled due to weather, equipment availability, or operational requirements.

  • Late cancellations may incur charges where costs have already been incurred.

11. Disputes

Any concerns or disputes must be raised within a reasonable time after completion of the work.
Both parties agree to attempt to resolve disputes in good faith before pursuing formal action.

12. Acceptance

Engaging JD Drone Services, confirming work, or submitting an online enquiry or booking form constitutes acceptance of these Terms of Trade.
